Performances like those seen in this year’s OU Young Choreographers’ Showcase bring fond memories to Janet Anderson, OU ’80 BFA modern dance performance and ’83 MFA dance. She loved ballet technique classes taught by Mary Margaret Holt, longtime dean of the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. Now, she says, “The growth of the program and the skill of the dancers are just incredible.” Janet and her husband, Wayne, OU ’79 BA letters and ’82 law, rarely miss an OU dance performance and support multiple funds at the OU Foundation that meet the program’s needs and uplift dance students.
